Take I-80 to Highway 117 South Exit 155, 8 miles to Prairie City.  Follow signs.

See bison, elk, deer and other prairie wildlife.  The Prairie Learning Center has fascinating exhibits for all ages.  There are over 200 species of birds on the Refuge, scores of mammals, amphibians, reptiles and native prairie plants.  This is now restored to its original tallgrass prairie.
